Searching for Truth
When I started following Christ, I wanted to search for the truth. But any church I went to, gave me none. I still had questions that needed answers in all good conscience. One of my main questions was, if the Bible says that the Sabbath day is on Saturday, why does everybody go to church on Sunday? I had this question and I asked people whom I thought were wise church leaders. I got answers like "I believe it has something to do with Paul." or "Because Jesus rose from the dead on that day." I mean, okay, so what? If you want to make the very day a holiday? Go ahead. What makes you think you can bend God's law to go around what you think? Like its optional content? Like you can just pick and choose? This question was in my mind but I did not take it seriously enough, and I kept going to a Sunday church with my mom. I saw a video one day, called From Babylon to America, and I decided to watch it. From that point on, everything started coming together. I could talk about what is in the video in another paragraph, but after that, I decided to not follow what other people or "church authority" say about God but about what I learn about God from the Bible. That the Bible should be my only source of knowledge, and from studying from no other source but the Bible, I found the church that is the closest to the sole source is the Seventh Day Adventist church. They have a little of a bad reputation because they attempted to predict that Jesus would come back in 1844. Well, the Bible does mention that time, but they got the "cleansing" event wrong. I plan to write more about the SDA church. -- Written by Vikenait Productions 🌍
