The year is 396 AD. The Roman Empire just split into east and west.  However,  Armenia is now under the control of the Sassanid empire which stretches from the Aral sea to the Arabian sea and from Syria to Kashmir. The capital, Ctesiphon, bustles in Mesopotamia. By 454 AD, the Alanic peoples migrated to live in Caucasia after the Huns collapsed.
