The History of Russia in the 1800s. 435

The year is 1792 AD. Russia spans from Estonia to Alaska and from the northern tip of Krasnoyarsk to northern Caucasia. A successful republican revolution occurs in France which alarms the other European monarchies under the fear that it might inspire their peasants to have a revolution like the French one. Russia is also a monharchy, a tsardom. Europe formed several coalitions against France but France suprisingly managed to defeat them almost entirely because of a skilled general, and then emperor, Napoleon Bonaparte. Russia's mainland was mostly untouched, however they sent their armies to go help the other European monharchies in some coalitions. In 1794 AD, Russia, Prussia, and Austria all formed a coalition against Poland-Lithuania and Russia took the rest of Ukraine and Belarus. In 1796 AD, they formed another coalitian and completely cut Poland-Lithuania's land between themselves. In 1799 AD, Russia annexed most of the Kazakh Khanete. In 1802 AD, Russia annexed Georgia. In 1803 AD, Russia expanded their western Alaskan colony outwards. Russia and France actually had a short-lived friendship until Russia broke the French continental treaty and began to trade with the British. As a result, Napoleon gathered the largest army Europe had ever seen and sent them through Russia. They marched through the Russian territory, conquering towns and cities as they went. They lived off the land so they could move fast. But Russia had a few plans to ward them off. First, they burned the farms and stuff ahead of the French to force them to use supply chains. When the French were close to Moscow, Russia ordered that the criminals be released and to burn the city to the ground. They did, and when the French got there, hoping for a spot to rest, were not very happy. Napoleon requested Russia to surrender, but Russia chose the genius decision of never replying which the French waited and waited for a reply until the winter came around and France had to leave losing more than 75% of his men during the entire journey. So, France lost, and Russia won. The congress of Vienna took place in 1815, the grand treaty of the Napoleonic wars, and Russia got Finland, Poland, Bessarbia, and Caucasia. In 1821 AD, Russia annexed the Kazakhs. In 1826 AD, Russia expanded their Alaskan colony to the borders of modern day. In 1853 AD, The United Kingdom, France, the Ottoman Empire, and Sicily went to war with Russia resulting in a Russian defeat. Russia only had to give tiny part of Romania to the Ottomans, however, map-wise. In 1859 AD, Qing (China) signed the treaty of Aigun, which forced them to give all the land north of the Amur river to Russia. After the second Opium war, Russia demanded Manchurian land across the Pacific ocean be given to Russia so Qing had to give it. There, the Russians founded Vladivostok. In 1868 AD, the Russian empire was afraid of their colony in Alaska being counqered by the United Kingdom. So, they offered to sell it to Liechtenstein, a country friendly with Russia and that had lots of gold. But they refused, because the wondered how they could settle in Alaska from the other side of the globe landlocked by 2 countries!! So, instead, they sold it to the United States for circa 2 cents per acre! By now, Russia was much less developed than the other European countries. The royal family was partying hard while the peasants worked, and Russia decided to keep exporting grain during a massive famine causing many to die. But a guy, Vladimir Lenin saw it as an opprotunity to create an empire with him as the dictator. In 1873 AD, Russia conquered Khiva citing Kazakh uprisings and imprisioned Russians. In 1876 AD, Russia colonized the island of Sakhalin. In 1877 AD, Russia conquered Bukhara and Kokand. Around the 1880s and 1890s, the Russian empire heard the cry of the persecuted Christian Slavs living in the Ottoman empire, so they supported them to start an uprising.
